The journey of Southern Roxx began in late 2008, when seven musicians came together – united by their shared passion for Southern sounds, honest music, and earthy, handmade Rock. What started as a joint project gradually grew into a band that has found its own path over the years. In the following years, their focus was initially on interpreting well-known Southern and Country Rock songs.
During this period, the first original songs also began to emerge. These tracks – which will form the band’s debut album – were written in that musical phase and reflect the style Southern Roxx performed live at the time: Rock. They became the foundation for the band’s further musical development.
Over time, Southern Roxx evolved musically, taking a clear step toward a harder, more powerful sound. Their repertoire changed as well: Southern & Country Rock shifted into Southern & Classic Rock, performed in their own distinctive Hard Rock style. Today, Southern Roxx stand for Southern Hardrock live on stage – with punch, groove, and soul.
After a creative break, the band is now back in the studio, finalizing their first album, planned for release in 2026. For Southern Roxx, this marks a new chapter and a meaningful moment: the songs written years ago are finally finding their place on an album.
With “Someone Like You” (2024) and “Music Is My Doctor” (2025), Southern Roxx released their first two singles – two very different tracks that showcase the band’s stylistic range.
All members of Southern Roxx have spent decades playing honest, handmade rock. Each musician brings their own musical story, experience, and unmistakable personal style. Together, they shape the sound that defines Southern Roxx today.
Southern Roxx want to surprise. They want to move people. And they want to take their audience along for the ride – to sing along, feel along, dance along, experience, and simply have a great time.
